Rooibos, or 'Red Bush' in Afrikaans, is an herbal tisane (no caffeine) from South Africa. Because it's dried and fired like black tea, it has a tannic 'bite' you can't find in traditional herbals. Besides its proven anti-oxidant properties, many health claims surround this plant. It is said to be anti-viral, anti-fungal and even anti-bacterial.
